Slow News Day

Alright, finally, a short post. Hopefully.
I enjoy reading basketball websites like RealGM.com as much as the next fan, but there are sometimes you have to wonder why they would reprint some of the news. Here are some examples just on the site right now.

MIAMI STILL UNINTERESTED IN TINSLEY
So apparently, it’s news that a team was never interested in a player. Are they still uninterested in me, because as far as I know, they never were before. In fact, I don’t of any teams that were ever interested in me. That’s news, isn’t it?
FRYE CREATING MISMATCHES IN PHOENIX
Okay, first of all, it’s not even training camp. What are they basing this on? And Frye has basically been dumped from his last two teams. Doesn’t a player actually have to been half decent to create mismatches? And is Frye really going to play enough for Phoenix that it’s going to matter? If he does, then they’re in big trouble.
ARENAS: NOBODY CAN GUARD ME
Is everything that comes out of Arenas’ mouth newsworthy, because the guy talks a lot, and a lot of it is nonsense. The media knows this, don’t they? Are they really that starved for stories that they’re quoting Gilbert Arenas bragging? The season can’t start soon enough…
